Anju Mahendru is an Indian Bollywood and Television actress.

Anju Mahendru was born in Mumbai, India on 11th January 1946. She is a very good friend of actress Shabana Azmi. Anju was in a relationship with the famous star Rajesh Khanna, and was engaged to Gary Sobers.
CAREER
Shabana Azmi's father, lyricist Kaifi Azmi, discovered Anju Mahendru. She has never played any leading roles in movies. Anju appeared on the small screen in 1990 and it gave her a chance to play some strong roles.
She was a part of movies like Sathiya, Page3, Hum Ko Deewana Kar Gaye, Mohabbat Ho Gayi Hai Tumse and Satta.
Anju played the role of a mother in a TV serial Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah on Zee TV.
