Anjali is a South Indian film actress and model, who mainly works in the Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film industries. She is best known for her critically acclaimed role as Anandhi in the 2007 Tamil film Katradhu Thamizh, which happened to be her first Tamil film itself and introduced her to the Tamil audience as an actress.

Career
Anjali was born in Rajamundry in Andhra Pradesh, India and has 2 brothers.

She started her acting flim career in 2007 with the critically acclaimed Tamil film Katradhu Thamizh, directed by Ram, who gave her the opportunity to star in the film, when she was vainly waiting for an offer in the Telugu film industry.

Though the film proved to be unsuccessful at the box-office, people took notice of "Ananthi", the homely girl, which Anjali portrayed in the film and she garnered critical acclaim, was highly praised and was also nominated for the Filmfare Award for the Best Debut Actress in Tamil for that year.

In her second film Aayudham Seivom opposite director-turned-actor Sundar C., she went for an image makeover, shedding her "homely image" and enacting a glamorous role with less scope to perform, which was not well received by the audience as it was a surprise and shock as opposed to her first film, in which she gave an impressive performance.

Currently, Anjali is working on five films simultaneously, including Angaadi Theru, directed by Vasanthabalan, who earlier directed the National Film Award winning Tamil film, Veyyil, and Rettai Suzhi, in which she will be sharing screen with veteran directors Bharathiraja and K. Balachandar.

Rajesh completed his schooling from Moscow, higher education (MA in English) from Punjab University, India. Studied in Nepal for a year at St Xavier's School in grade eight. He had modelled for Fashion Net, an Indian fashion magazine in 1985 and had also walked the ramp in Kathmandu and New Delhi in 1986. In one year, on an average, he works on 10 to 12 films. The maximum was 16 films in 1994. He has worked in more than 177 Nepali movies and a Pakistani movie. Among all his movies, Devata and Basanti are his favorite.He was linked with Kristi Mainali in his earlier carrier and both couple shared the great on screen chemistry. Later on people talk about Rajesh Hamal and Karishma Manandhar onscreen as the best pair in the Nepalese film industry.

What keeps Hamal as the monopolistic actor in Nepal is the fact that he has strong voice and charming personality that goes well with the industry. Hamal has often been cited as Hugh Grant of Nepal. He has appeared in many film awards in Nepal. He is also the brand ambassador of some well-selling market items of Nepal. He is unmarried till date. Family and early life

Nikhil was born to Govinda Upreti and Bhoj Kumari Upreti in Piprabhitta of Sarlahi. He has two sisters and a brother. During his childhood days, he was interested in sports especially in Karate(black belt) and football. He completed his education from Birgunj and Kathmandu and moved to Mumbai and worked in different movies as an assistant fight director and a stunt boy. He also got Diploma in acting from Roshan Taneja’s studio, Mumbai. Similarly, he got special training in action there and got a chance to work as an assistant fight director in ABCL company of Amitabh Bachhan and showed his talent in dozens of Hindi films.

In 2058 B.S he got married with Kopila Upreti of Noubise, Dhading after 8 years of successful love story. His marriage has helped him a lot to settle down.

Acting career

Born from a background family of farmers, Nikhil’s first acting role came in 2057 B.S, where he had a breath taking and substantial role in Pijada, a Nepali film. He jumped from a seven stored building of Kantipur Complex for that movie and it was a superhit. This movie can be termed as a career-maker for him. Nikhil's next film was the 2059’s another hit movie Maya Ko Jaal. Nikhil was then picked as the first choice by the big producers of Nepal for their upcoming films. With the entry of Nikhil in Nepali Film Industry, the action trend in cinema has completely changed .For the year 2064, he has already signed a dozen of films including Nepal’s most popular director Tulshi Ghimire’s Desh and three Bhojpuri films from the Indian makers. Recently, he is busy with the shootings for Trishul, Ghayal and Dai Ko Sasuraali.

Till now he has worked in more than 45 films. He has been awarded for his performance in different movies. He was welcomed with the award as a Best Actor in First National Films Award 2062 from the movie ‘Haami Teen Bhai’. This film was very well received and earned Nikhil with name as well as fame. He was also awarded with Rastriya Nagarik Sworna Samman in 2063 B.S. Not only this, he has also in hand a number of awards on completing 51 days from more than 15 movies.

Miscellaneous

As a producer he has put his hand in only one movie that is ‘Savadhan’, a completely different track movie and it was also a hit. He has also worked as an Ad director for 2 PM noodles and is a brand ambassador of Phataaphat noodles.

In The Nepali Film Fraternity, there are no any films which are named in the name of an actor but there is one movie Nikhil Dai which is named in Nikhil’s name itself. Currently, he is one of the most busiest actor in Nepali Movie Industry. Looks like there is no any limit for this super-star of Kollywood....
