Archana Puran Singh was born on 26th March 1962 in Dehradun, India. She moved to Mumbai looking for opportunities in modeling and has worked in a Band Aid ad. She is married to actor Parmeet Sethi and they have two sons.

Singh started hosting the popular show Wah Kya Scene Hai on Zee TV. After this she was seen in Uncensored, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, Shriman Shrimati and Archana Talkies.
She has appeared alongside her husband in Kaho Na Yaar Hai and in the reality TV show Nach Baliye. On Sony TV’s Comedy Circus, she has taken on the role of a judge.

Archana Puran Singh has been part of many successful movies. She started with Jalwa (1987), Agneepath (1990),Saudagar (1991) and Raja Hindustani (1996).
She is best remembered for her role in Karan Johar’s Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) as the flirtatious professor Ms.Briganza. In Jhankaar Beats (2003) she played an ambitious woman working in an ad agency.
Other movies to her credit are Krrish (2006), Love Story 2050(2008) and Oye Lucky Lucky Oye (2008). In 2009, she will be seen in Kal Kissne Dekha and a Punjabi movie Tera Mera Ki Rishta.........
