Aarti Chaabria was born on 21st November 1982 in India. She grew up as part of a Sindhi family that was uninvolved in the glamour industry.

Standing at 5’5”, Aarti worked in several ads like Krack Cream and Amul and appeared in music videos like Sukhwinder Singh’s ‘Nasha Hi Nasha’ and Adnan Sami’s ‘Tera Chehra’.

She won the Miss India crown in 1999.

Aarti Chhabria’s first appearance on the big screen was with Rajkumar Santoshi’s Lajja (2001) as Sushma, Gajendra’s daughter. This was followed by performances in Awaara Paagal Deewana (2002), Shaadi No.1 (2005) and Teesri Aankh (2006).

In 2007, she was part of some of the year’s biggest hits like Shootout at Lokhandwala, Partner and Heyy Babyy.

Her next movie due for release in 2009 is Milenge Milenge with Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor and Kisse Pyaar Karoon.

Aarathi (Born:1954, Aragal, Mysore) (Kannada: ಆರತಿ) is an Indian actress and producer of Kannada movies.
She first became popular during the late 1970s and 1980s, and was recognised for her roles in movies such as Naagarahaavu, Edakallu Guddada Mele, Bili Hendthi, Dharmasere, Paduvaaralli Pandavaru, Ranganayaki, Hombisilu, Upaasane and Shubhamangala. She has won the State Award several times, and is only the second actress to be nominated to the Vishana Parishat.The movie Mithayi Mane won the Best Children's Film award for the year 2004-2005 issued by the Government of Karnataka.She has acted in Tamil movies like Gumasthavin Magal. She has also acted as a heroine alongside Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan where they acted as villains in the respective movies.
She does a great deal of charity work. She left the film industry in 1987, and married to Chandrashekar Desaigoudar and moved to the USA. She has lived in the USA ever since, and has two daughters.
